More Walksy

Both Elena and I have independently claimed to see her take a step unassisted, but neither of us have any confirmation from either the camera nor the other one of us, so until then, more assisted walking videos...
Update, she successfully walked three steps between us tonight. I am not sure if she realized what she had done, but boom, she did it, no video confirmation yet, so in the meantime boring old assisted walking from a few days ago...

Clutching

If it is round, it is a ball and she demands it to hold. Ball. Ball. Ball. Even if it is a fruit or vegetable.

Yellow pepper!

Big Girl

We just got back from the park . . . Aida is clearly a big girl. She's bigger and taller than a 21 month old little boy, she is bigger than the two girls that were 15 and 16 months old, and I think she was even sized with the 2 year old! Wow!!! Go Aida.

She is starting to walk . . . mostly holding somebody's hands, but once in a while she's just holding one or barely holding on.

Puff Butt

Just after we got our floors refinished I put down Aida's alphabet mat. The toys seemed to follow shortly after. Then . . . the puffs. She opened the container and let 'em go! So, the picture is shiny floor and puff butt.

Still life with veggie puff.

One year stats

As recalled by mommy brain:

31.25 inches tall
24.5 lbs. heavy
head circ. totally forgotten . . . but still big.

Orange Ball

Aida is very good at saying "ball" - everything round is "ball". Including all pumpkins, apples, avocados, brussel sprouts, etc.
