Puye Cliffs Family

That is me, the baby Aida, my ma, and Elena. This is at the Puye Cliff Dwellings in Santa Clara Pueblo just down the mesa from here. Aida was nonplussed by the impressive dwellings, but still she was well behaved.

Why Babies Paint

Possibly because they can.

Well, if someone dips them in paint they can! Aida loved it. And she even loved the bath afterward! I tried to live in the moment and not worry that neither Ruth nor I had a camera . . . but it was so cute that I had to take pictures with my phone!







I'll work on getting the masterpieces up for viewing next week!

Lazy Sunday . . .

Tarik and Aida are checking on the backyard vegetation . . . for the second time today. We had a slow day . . . it took forever to warm up and then it was HOT! Can't wait for June and July!

She's getting used to the idea of swinging . . . and likes it!



Wink is watching the deer eat the leaves off the cherry trees . . . and my plum tree and the apple tree and the apricot tree . . . aaaagggghhh. Bad deer.

More of Aida!

Dina and Mila have been picking us up for bike rides to the park lately
and we've been testing out the swings. Some days happy, some days sad . . .
today:HAPPY!

Mila and Aida like the grass . . . or more aptly they like pulling
and tasting the grass. And they really like watching all the big kids play!

Aida is also having fun pulling the grass at home! She sits out in the Bumbo
with me in the yard! Good baby!









And, I just like this one . . . kinda baby O'keefe.
