Saturday . . . Big Day

Saturday we took Aida to see Kindered Spirits animal shelter . . . Ruth was having a show to benefit the critters! They're waaaay out there on Highway 14 south of Santa Fe. We had a great time checking out the chickens, ducks, peacocks, and various fowl. We even saw a crazy pink snake in the pen. Ruth was having a great show! We'll post pics later of the newest chicken acquisition. I have to admit it surprised me how hot it was down there! Ouch! Aida and I didn't like the heat at all! Tarik took it with his usual stoicism. We had a fabulous lunch at Annie's restaurant, Thunderbird! Anyhoo, we missed both Aida naps, shopped 'til we dropped, and arrived home at bedtime. Aaaaaggghh. Of course, we took no pictures . . . so, here are some that don't really relate to our travel that day.
